Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro Preview – Very Flashy!
The Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro is the newest member of the very popular Caliburn family!
The G3 family include the Caliburn G3, Caliburn GK3, Caliburn G3 Lite and Caliburn GK3 Tenet.
What To Expect From The Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro?
This is a pod kit consisting of the main body (mod) and the tank (pod).
The most striking element of this kit is the fact the whole front panel is a LCD colour screen!
It displays everything from your battery charge remaining, pod specifications, power level, puff count and any warnings.
Not only does it look flashy it is full of features too!
It is packing a 1000mAh internal battery which is charged via the USB Type C port at a quick 2A charge rate.
The output is adjustable up to 35W and the device selects the appropriate adjustment range to match the pod installed.
You can either press the fire button manually or use the auto draw firing. The fire button can be locked for inhale activated auto draw only.
An airflow adjustment slider is provided on the side of the mod to tailor the incoming airflow to your preference.
This is compatible with the Caliburn G3 range of pods. These have a fixed coil so when the coil performance deteriorates you replace the whole pod. No faffing with messy coil changes.
The pods (or “cartridges”) come in top fill (TPD) 2ml capacity or side fill (standard) 3ml capacity.
You can choose from 0.4oh, 0.6ohm, 0.9ohm and 1.2ohm resistance pods.
The kit includes the 0.4ohm and 0.9ohm pods. However the FDA version swaps the 0.4ohm for a 0.6ohm pod.
These have “PRO-FOCS” technology. Nobody seems to know what that means, but usually pods / coils with this branding kick out excellent flavour.
You can choose from 6 colours: Midnight Black, Space Grey, Stone Grey, Pacific Blue, Rose Gold and Emerald Green.

I have to say that screen looks epic and it is full of features. Another reason I like the look of this is the compatibility with existing Caliburn G3 Pods.
