It’s no secret that UWELL is at the Frontier of innovation. The Aegols pod is another example of UWELL’s greatness. The pod bears a sizable 1500mAh battery, UN2 Meshed coils with pre-FOCS technology, and adjustable airflow for a customizable MTL or DL vaping option.

The UWELL Aegols Pod is a compact and ergonomic handheld pod mod kit. It is crafted of light and strong aluminum alloy and PCTG material. Many compare it to the Caliburn G for its appearance but they perform quite differently. The Aegols pod has a 1500mAh built-in battery and adopts Type-C charging.
The pod can hold 3.5mL of e-liquid, it includes a large removable duckbill mouthpiece on top of the pod. Aeglos uses two types of new coils covering MTL and DTL vaping options.
The 0.23ohm UN2 Mesh-H coil can ensure smooth airflow and original flavor suitable for DTL styles, while the 0.8ohm coil provides rich flavor, suitable for MTL styles.
When you remove the pod from the device an adjustable airflow ring appears allowing you to easily control the airflow settings to your liking.
Moving onto the pros and cons, we’ll start with the negatives first. The adjustable airflow on the Aegols serves as both a pro and a con. It’s a con because in order to access the control ring you have to remove the entire pod from the device, which gets annoying when you have to keep adjusting it.
The final con concerns the 0.8ohm MTL coil, yes it’s flavorful however it doesn’t really give you a true MTL hit it’s more of a loose MTL hit, the duckbill mouthpiece is awkward with MTL hits. So basically you just get two different DL coils.
I’ll mention this for the nitpickers when vaping, the device doesn’t have the quietest draw, it’s not the most turbulent but it’s not the smoothest either.
Onto the pros, there was so much to rave about that the pros sort of outweighed the cons. We’ll start with the build quality of the pod, it’s ultra-lightweight, you almost forget that you’re carrying this thing around.
The 0.96" OLED display is nice and vibrant with easy to read menu settings.
The device fires very quickly, there’s no leakage, the adjustable airflow gives you more control over the device, and best of all, the 0.23ohm mesh coil provides a beautiful flavor. With the direct lung fully open you get the most flavor.
Reviewer Matt from Smm said that the UN2 meshed coils are some of the best on the market. UWELL adopts the Pro-FOCS technology that recycles the liquid or condensation into the coil huge pro.
Final Thoughts
Overall the UWELL Aeglos Pod performs terrifically. Aside from the airflow control ring tucked underneath the pod, there were no real sizable cons. I will caution MTL users if you’re okay with a loose MTL hit then you’ll enjoy this pod. If not, then this may not be the one for you.
The Aeglos is a great beginner pod or back up, it gives you the best of both worlds performance-wise for flavor and cloud production. I’d say the major draw is the UN2 meshed coils. The flavor is unmatched, it takes your vape to new levels. I’d give it a strong 8 out of 10.
