SMOK RPM 5 & RPM 5 Pro Review - New 80W Pod System Kits

The RPM product line of SMOK has been growing. Let’s welcome the latest 2 members - RPM 5 & RPM 5 Pro which are similar but have a couple of differences. Let’s find out what’s new for these 2 new arrivals in this review.

What can we expect from RPM 5 & RPM 5?

Design & Appearance
The RPM 5 series is designed to be portable and durable and the outline design is innovative compared to the previous RPM series members. You can feel its quality at first look and touch with the sleek, circular design to create a smooth finish.

Mod
The main difference between the RPM 5 and RPM 5 Pro is the battery. The RPM 5 has an internal 2000mAh battery whereas the RPM 5 Pro uses a single 18650 battery which is not included in the kit, you need to buy it separately. Both of them can output power at 5-80W.

Airflow Control
There is a stepless airflow control valve on the side of mod. which establishes a stepless airflow adjustment mechanism that supports airway regulation of any size, from minimum to maximum and vice versa. An airflow slider switch is provided to give you full control of the incoming air.

Cartridge & Coil
The RPM 5 and RPM 5 Pro use the same cartridge - RPM 5 Pod. The pod features the child-resistant on all versions, and it has a slide-to-open top filling design. Simply push the top filling cover to expose the filling hol e without pulling out the pod, which makes the filling process more easy.

It adopts the new RPM 3 meshed coils 0.15/0.23ohm for perfect DL vaping. The new mesh technology is adopted to enhance the flavor more efficiently, and due to the enlarged meshed surface, more clouds are generated, which not only increases the atomization area but also improves the heating rate.
