SMOK released the Pozz X as part of celebrating their 10-year anniversary. The Pozz X is a lightweight yet powerful vape for a pod. With 40W of power and a 1400mAh battery, it should be the perfect combo for portable power.

It features a long-lasting battery, enlarged airflow holes, and fantastic flavor. The Pozz X doesn’t really bring anything new to the table and is quite similar to the SMOK Nord 2.
The two boast a relatively high power output and also a large eliquid capacity. Keep reading to find out which one is better.
SMOK is arguably one of the biggest vape manufacturers in existence currently.
They regularly announce new product releases every month or so. As a result, SMOK possesses a massive back catalog of vaping devices for you to choose from. This includes coils, tanks, pods, pens, and mods.
They predominantly cater to transitioning smokers and new vapers but do occasionally produce high-powered devices like the SMOK Mag P3 Box Mod
The Pod
The SMOK Pozz X Kit 40W Pod is a touch bigger than the SMOK Nord 2 measuring 97.3 mm by 33.6 mm by 22mm.
The oval shape feels comfortable in hand and is rather ergonomic. The main chassis is super sturdy and very durable. It houses an internal 1400 mAh battery that can be charged with a MicroUSB cable.
I wish they utilized a more modern USB-C port for faster charging.
The SMOK Pozz X Kit can output a respectable 5 to 40 watts and 0.3 to 2.5 ohms.
This is more than enough to please most pod users. It’s conveniently compatible with all RPM coils and this even includes the RBA options. I was able to get a decent DTL vape when using the pre-installed RPM Mesh 0.4 ohm coil. The Pozz X Kit also comes with a spare RPM Triple Ceramic 0.6 coil.
The MTL is pretty loose, but not too bad in my honest opinion.
On the front face is a beautiful 0.96″ TFT high-resolution screen that displays your wattage, fire duration, and puffs.
A single button operates everything on the device and is controlled by the number of clicks you do.
For example, to access the main menu, click the button five times. The main menu options as you’d expect are pretty basic for a pod device. It includes a locking feature and a puff wipe.
The cartridge on top can hold 4.5ml of eliquid and sits comfortably within its allotted space. The magnets are strong and as a result, I wasn’t worried about chucking the device straight into my bag.
To date, I’ve experienced no leaks. Your coil will plug into the bottom of the cartridge that also has an adjustable airflow ring.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work as intended and is rather loud.
Price
The SMOK Pozz X 40W Pod Kit is currently available to buy right now.
The lowest price I could find online was $18.88 USD from EightVape. I think that’s a reasonable asking price to ask for any decent pod device.
The overall build quality is great, but I still prefer the SMOK Nord 2 purely for the aesthetic.
Packaging
The SMOK Pozz X Kit 40W Pod comes in a wide array of colors and patterns.
This includes black, white, purple, blue, orange, blue, gray, rainbow, yellow, and also camouflage. The packaging is plain and simple. A white cardboard box is adorned with a nice photo of the product, some specifications, and various branding.
Inside you’ll find your POZZ X Device, cartridge, coil, MicroUSB charging cable, and also a manual.
Summary
Overall, the Pozz X is a decent enough pod vape, with a long-lasting battery and a large e-liquid capacity. However, not much about it is “new”.
So whilst the product itself is good, the fact that there’s nothing innovative about it lowered our overall opinion.
