SMOK Nord 5 vs Nord 50W vs Nord 4
Here comes a new member of SMOK “Nord Family” - Nord 5. At first glance, the Nord 5 looks like any other Nord. It seems that snake skin scale pattern is quite an iconic design across the entire Smok Nord Series, but the Nord 5 makes a big difference on its skin pattern. What’s new for the Nord 5? Let’s check it out in this review.
What can we expect from the SMOK Nord 5?
Design & Appearance
There are 12 color options for SMOK Nord 5, of which 8 are Regular Series and 4 are Leather Series. The Nord 5 comes with a 2000mAh built-in battery, which is large enough for a whole day vaping. Besides, a 0.69inch OLED display screen is equipped on the side of Nord 5, showing you the accurate working data.
Like all other Nord, there is a typical button with its LED indicator in the middle on the front of the Smok Nord 5, which lets you know the current situation that your device is facing, such as flashing 5 times to echo with the short circuit.
Power Adjustment
You can adjust the power by clicking the buttons below the display screen. Nord 5 can satisfy you whether you favor a delicate or tough one by freely adjusting the working power within 5W-80W.
Airflow Adjustment
On the opposite side of the power button is the stepless airflow control button. It uses the sliding bar design, which is the easiest and simplest way for a user to control airflow. Drag the slider to define the air intake, and the dual-side air inlet layout enables fuller atomization and more balanced heat dissipation, contributing to a smooth and plump taste.
Cartridge & Coil
The Nord 5 Cartridge comes with a child-proof coil lock design to enhance the child's safety in case of e-liquid leakage when the coil head is removed accidentally. With an increased capacity of 5ml, Nord 5 is adequate for introducing a tasty e-liquid to you and processing it into a gratifying flavor. This Cartridge is compatible with RPM 3 Coil 0.15/0.23ohm for DL vaping.
To some extent, the Nord 5 is more similar to Nord 50W and Nord 4, let’s have a brief comparison by the chart below.
