Review: Avata – Aspire
The Aspire Avata is a pod with a massive 15 ml capacity. Easy to use, it comes with a 0.6-ohm coil that allows for some sizeable clouds. A pod that stands out for its capacity.
Simple and comfortable

With its 15 ml capacity, the Avata pod requires very few refills, letting you vape for several days. Almost free of settings, it offers 3 power levels to adjust throat hit sensations. As often with Aspire, the vapor quality is excellent.

The kit includes:
Pod
USB cable
User manual

On one side of the pod, a slider adjusts the airflow that cools the coil and changes the draw sensation. The more air you let through, the airier the draw—always within the range of a very restricted direct inhale. Conversely, less airflow makes the draw tighter, producing slightly warmer vapor.

On the other side, a button controls the pod’s power output. In Normal mode with the 0.6-ohm cartridge, the pod runs at 16 W. In Eco mode, it delivers 14 W, and in Max mode, 18 W. Enough to adapt the sensations according to individual preferences.

The screen is bright and clearly displays the remaining battery level. The colored ring changes depending on both the battery percentage and the selected mode (3 modes). At a glance, you can check the battery, which has a 1100 mAh capacity. It’s not the largest in this category, but the oversized cartridge leaves less space for the battery.

The cartridge itself is unusual, divided into two sections to reduce the risk of leakage from such a large reservoir. The top holds up to 10 ml of e-liquid, while the bottom holds 5 ml. A small hatch connects the two when opened. While functional and convenient, this system raises some concerns—which we’ll come back to.

The filling port is located under the orange silicone tab at the bottom of the cartridge. It’s large enough to fit most e-liquid bottle tips. A small red piece manages the opening and closing of the passage between the two reservoir sections.
It’s worth noting that you cannot reinsert the cartridge into the pod body while the liquid control latch is open. This is where you need to pay attention. With 15 ml of liquid available, you might forget about refilling altogether. True, this capacity easily lasts several days for most vapers. But the lower 5 ml reservoir must be manually connected to the upper one. The risk is running dry in the bottom tank while the top remains full… leading to a dreaded dry hit. Monitoring the lower section’s level first is essential.
While a 15 ml capacity means you don’t need to carry a juice bottle with you, we believe the locking system between reservoirs should be left to the user’s choice—whether to keep it open or closed.
Otherwise, the pod is very enjoyable to use. The vapor is what you’d expect from Aspire: precise and detailed flavor reproduction, with excellent overall quality. The cloud production matches the coil’s resistance value perfectly.
In summary
Pros
Large capacity
Great vape quality
Easy to use
Three power levels
Cons
Liquid transfer system could be improved
REVIEW OVERVIEW

SUMMARY
The Avata pod is a very solid device. Flavor performance is excellent. With three power levels, it allows for some variety in the inhale experience. It’s simple to use and requires no technical skills—ready to go right out of the box. However, we remain a bit skeptical about the liquid transfer system between the two reservoirs. Despite its huge capacity, it still forces you to watch the smaller tank, much like a standard pod.
