Introducing the SMOK ARCFOX

Introducing the SMOK ARCFOX:

Is the Fox worth its weight in gold?

Let’s Find Out!!

This is what SMOK’s Description says:

“The Smok Arcfox kit is manufactured from Zinc Alloy and non-slip silicone with a stylish, comfortable leather finish on the grip and a large easy to click fire button. On the side of the device is a clear, scratch-resistant 0.96” colour TFT display which clearly highlights all the important information required at a glance, including wattage/temperature, voltage, coil resistance, battery levels, mode selected and puff count.”

So does it really stack up!!

Right from the get go I knew I would be impressed by the feel of the soft leather against your palm and the smooth Firing Bar at your fingertips makes you feel powerful. In my opinion the bar fire mechanism is the best way to go.

The next thing I noticed was the sheer difference in weight compared to Mods like the X-Priv or G-Priv. This is lightweight and has a design completely different to Smok’s general design process which I think has put this in a league of its own.

The display is Crystal clear and does contain everything you need to keep track of and comes in an assortment of colours depending on preference.
So Far So Good…….

So the Specs seem to be pretty much in the same range as say the Voopoo Drag 3 or the Geekvape Aegis X but does it perform the same? Or Better?

Let’s start by looking at what comes in the box

In the UK TPD kit it comes with the TFV Mini V2 Sub ohm Tank, 0.15ohm single Mesh coil pre-installed and a 0.2 ohm dual coil, I haven’t mentioned the charge cable as I personally don’t charge by USB (I use an external Charger as it’s a better way to keep your batteries healthier for longer)

So how does it perform…………

Like a Dream……or a Nightmare??

This pairing couldn’t have been better, Smok have upped their game with their all new performance chipset that now allows the desired power to be achieved until the battery dies.

In the past I’ve been disappointed as it seemed Smok devices would get to 40% battery and seem to struggle to hit the desired wattage or temp even though it showed your desired power it just never felt like it performed and that’s where the Arcfox changes the game.

As you can see I favour wattage mode and this Mod does have Temp Control as well with the ability to change the type of coil material used in Temp mode, but this Chipset is intelligent in the way it can read the resistance of coils installed and automatically places it on a suitable wattage, this is a recommended as you are free to choose your own wattage or Temp to suit your style of vaping…… So How Does it Vape?

Yes that’s right Like a Dream!! Cloud 9 in your hands the TFV mini V2 works in Harmony with the Arcfox producing Flavour and Clouds you can float on but does it perform the same on RTA’s and RDA’s?

Although I like the TFV sub ohm tank I prefer using an RTA as it is more customisable in what coils I use and at what ohms, that being said building an RTA using the Arcfox is effortless. It heats NI80 dual coils rapidly allowing the process to flow better in setting up my tank and then well, it performs so well with its new chipset, it just keeps performing until the batteries beg for mercy.

Is It Worth Its Weight In Gold!

If you want a Mod that gives you the best performance not only in itself but your tank as well, then The Smok Arcfox is the way to go. There are so many amazing Mod Kits out at the moment but this was the best purchase I’ve made in months.

I really hope you Enjoyed this Look into the Smok Arcfox and that it inspires you to want to try it for yourself and who knows maybe you will start a journey like me and immerse yourself in the Vape Community to experience all things vape.
