3 Things That Make the Vaporesso SKRR-S Mini Sub-Ohm Tank Surprisingly Good

Vaporesso released the first SKRR Tank for those who didn’t mind a tank with a max 30mm diameter in the middle when measured with the 8ml capacity bubble glass. They sized it down and released a similar version of the SKRR-S called the Vaporesso SKRR-S Mini Sub-Ohm Tank. Retaining some of the features of the original, but getting rid of some extraneous ones, the SKRR-S Mini still has rather impressive performance for a smaller, 23mm sub-ohm tank. Read on for three things that make the Vaporesso SKRR-S Mini Sub-Ohm Tank surprisingly good.

1. The Quadflow Air Distribution System of the Vaporesso SKRR-S Mini
The Vaporesso SKRR-S Mini Sub-Ohm Tank uses something called a Quadflow Air Distribution System. The idea of quadflow is that the airflow enters from the airflow control ring and then into the atomizer, spreading in four different directions. This, in theory, would help keep the coils from getting too hot, as well as the atomizer, plus deliver some sizeable clouds.

2. The QF Coil System
The QF Coil System from Vaporesso uses a combination of flax and cotton wicking and features several large wicking holes on the coil. The SKRR-S Mini Sub-Ohm Tank comes with the QF Meshed 0.2-ohm mesh coil (for use from 55-85WW) and the 0.15-ohm QF Strip coil (for use at 60-90W).

These coils deliver great flavor, but they’re a bit thirsty, so be prepared to fill the tank a bit more often than with others.

The cloud production is quite impressive as well, especially considering the size of the tank. If you use either of the coils above 70W, with the airflow wide open, you can achieve some clouds that are nearly comparable to larger tanks and coil systems.

3. The Vaporesso SKKR-S Mini is Compatible with the Vaporesso GT Coils
The QF Coil System works great with the SKRR-S Mini, but in case you’re looking for a few different coil options, the Vaporesso GT Coil Family is also compatible. This means you’ve got about eight other coil options in addition to the QF coils. Those eight also include two CCELL ceramic coils, which Vaporesso has garnered some praise for.
